Cake for Breakfast is a beautiful thing

Why not start your day with a beautiful yummy cake for breakfast?! It's the little things in life that make it worthwhile and you gotta love yourself first, before you can focus on the tasks the day and others will throw at you! :-)

These Oreo-Brownies go extremely well with coffee and vanilla ice cream. Especially in summer the combination with ice cream will make you magically happy!


Recipe:
Ingredients: 250g chocolate (chips) (60% cocoa) - 150g milk chocolate (chips) -
                      240g butter (2 sticks) - 3 eggs - 6 drops vanilla (/1 Tbsp vanilla sugar) -
                      240g sugar (1 cup) - 125g flour (1/2 cup) - 2 tsp baking powder -
                      60g dark cocoa powder (3Tbsp) - 20 Oreo cookies

Instructions:
1a) Start by melting the (60%) chocolate chips.

1b) When the chocolate is completely melted, add the butter and stir ...

...till it is melted as well.

2a) In a different bowl combine the eggs and sugar.

2b) Mix them for 1 minute.

2c) Add the melted butter- chocolate mixture and mix for another minute.

2d) Combine the flour and the baking powder.

2e) Using a whisk, fold the flour-baking powder mix in the dough.

2f) Add the vanilla (sugar) and stir again.

2g) Fold the cocoa powder in the dough.

2h) Break 8 Oreos into small pieces. Incorporate the Oreos and the milk chocolate.

3a) Prepare a baking pan (approx.  12 x 8 inches or  
30x 20cm)

3b) Fill the dough in the prepared baking pan.

3c) Break the remaining Oreos in pieces and spread them on top of the cake.

3d) Bake at 160°C /320° F for 20-25 min. Use a fork to test if the cake is ready.
(No dough on the fork = ready baked). YAAY!
