Christmas Cookies

Put on the song Christmas cookies by George Strait and get started on these yummy christmas cookies. While dashing through the dough, dance and don't forget to lick the bowl ;)

Instructions:

1a) In a bowl mix together butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar.

1b) Then add baking powder to the flour and incorporate it into the dough.

1c) Knead the dough a bit more with your hands and put it in the fridge for at least 30min.

2a) Spread some flour on the table and roll the dough on it using a rolling pin.

2b) Gather some cookie cutters and friends to help you create extra christmasy cookie shapes.

2c) Prepare a baking tray with baking paper and put all the cookies on top. Bake them at 320°F /160°C for 8-10min.

3a) When the cookies have cooled down, start deco-rating. The options are: 1. mix powdered sugar with lemon juice to create a sugar icing. Spread it on top of the cookies and add sprinkles.

3b) Option 2 is to melt the chocolate, spread it over the cookies and add sprinkles. For option 3 you spread the jam between two layers of cookies.
