Churro Cupcakes - Spain

If you are missing your Spanish friends or are just having a strong craving for Churros and are not in Spain, you've come to the right place! These Churro Cupcakes are super easy to make and you don't need a deep fryer like you do for Churros. You can be on your Spain vacation faster than you think :P

Recipe / Rezept:

Instructions:  

1a) In a bowl mix together butter (room temperature) and eggs.

1b) Add sugar, vanilla (sugar), sour cream and milk to the bowl and mix again.

1c) Add the baking powder to the flour and incorporate it into the dough.

1d) Fill the dough into cupcake paper tins. Bake at 320°F / 160°C(air circulation) for approx. 20min.

2a) When the cupcakes have cooled down a little, we start with the frosting. Mix the butter (room temperature!) until it is fluffy-creamy.

2b) Incorporate cream cheese into the butter. Then add powdered sugar, vanilla (sugar) and cinnamon to the bowl and mix again..

2c) ..until the frosting is creamy fluffy like this.

3a) Fill the frosting into a frosting bag and spread it over the cupcakes.

3b) In a little bowl mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the cupcakes. Buon appetito :-)
