...because then you would find this yummy treat as your breakfast!! What could be a better motivation to get you out of bed than a cake with strawberries!? That's right..nothing!!! :D So let's get started today and bake your morning motivation!
Good news for our glutenfree-eating friends! You are allowed to eat this cake! ;-)
Always make sure that all ingredients you are using are gluten-free.
Dough: 4 eggs - 2 sticks butter melted (250g) - 1 cup buttermilk (240ml) - 2 tsp vanilla (sugar) - 2 cups sugar (440g) - 1 1/2 cups brown rice (250g) (use a grain mill, grind brown rice on
the finest setting to get rice flour) - 1 Tbsp baking powder -
2/3 cup corn or potato starch (80g) - 4 Tbsp guar gum
Strawberries: 2.2 pounds strawberries (1kg)
Topping: 4 egg whites - 2/3 cup sugar (140g)
2d) Tadaaaa your (glutenfree!) extra yummy strawberry cake is ready! :-)
(P.S. If you don't eat it straight away, put it in the fridge)
